The Tag Game

Ok, so it's a silly game, and I normally don't like chain letters and such, but this one's actually fun! Here are the rules of the game:

1. Link to the person who tagged you

2. Post these rules on your blog

3. List seven random or weird facts about yourself

4. Tag seven people and include links to their blogs

5. Let each person know they have been tagged by writing on their shout-out wall.

Here is my list of weird/random facts:

1) I can roll my tongue together and whistle. No, not my lips, nor do I use any fingers. Tongue only.

2) I grew up for several years in a desert town in the United Arab Emirates.

3) When I was a small kid I apparently believed I could walk on water, possibly inspired by a biblical passage? :) My dad saved me at the last minute by grabbing my hair.

4) I can ride a bike almost as well on snow and ice as on a dry surface.

5) My feet are so wide that most regular shoes are uncomfortable.

6) When I went to Paris, I wasn't impressed by it at all, even though you always hear that it's such an amazing city.

7) Not being quite satisfied by my original near-drowning experience as a kid, I decided to take a swim on my own in the middle of the night when I was 19. I swam out to a wooden raft about 150 feet out, but after resting there for a while I was so cold and stiff that I almost didn't make it back. I did make it though, luckily enough, so that I can tell the world about these weird facts :P
